Most of the illustrations Ed produces are realistically rendered, but he tries his hardest not to be too realistic, he often says..

Ed has self trained himself drawing caricatures and pin-ups in also a very realistic style. Most of the commercial work is completed as digital, from sketch to finished artwork. In the very scarse spare time he finds, he enjoys drawing with traditional materials like charcoal, graphite pencil and a ballpoint pen. A new project he has started is a comics series about a sexy 50's style pin up girl 'Maybelle'.

Ed's journey begins in Amsterdam - The Netherlands where at the age of 11, he takes a course in drawing.
